The injury of Team India’s wicketkeeper-son Rishabh Pant has expressed concern about Kuldeep Yadav’s possibilities of making playing XI for the upcoming fifth and final Test match against England. Kuldeep cannot be picked up, as the team can opt for all -rounder Shardul Thakur to balance the management side.
Kuldeep Yadav has been included in the ongoing test series so far, the team management has opted for an all-rounder instead of an expert spinner. Sharadul Thakur batted at number eight in the last match at Old Trafford, Manchester. He scored just 11 overs and 41 runs in the first innings.

Rishabh Pant denied final test against England in Ull
Rishabh Pant has been dropped from the final test against England at the Oval starting on Thursday, 31 July due to a fragmented toe. The left -handed batsman scored 479 runs in four matches on an average of 68.43, including two centuries and three fifties.
Pant is the third largest run-scorer in the series behind Captain Shubman Gill (722) and opener KL Rahul (511). Dhruv Jurael, who has to play in this series yet, is expected to step into as a wicketkeeper. Jurall has scored 202 runs in four tests at an average of 40.4 with a best score of 90.
Washington Sundar batted at number five in the previous test in Manchester, with its first test century to help India secure a draw. India will aim to take Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy series to 2–2 for a win at Oval.
