Rishabh Pant Braves Fracture Foot, Exit out to bat between deaf cheers in Manchester

Star India National cricket team wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant demonstrated incredible patience and determination as he went out to bat in a manchester test with a fracture leg.

Rishabh Pant received a permanent ovation from the audience at Old Trafford, Manchester as he came out to bat despite a serious injury.

Rishabh pants go out to bat despite injury

Pants faced a leg injury on 1 on the day of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 fourth Test match. He fractured his leg during the 68th over and was forced to hurt after scoring 37 runs.

He tried to play a predetermined reverse sweep from Pacer Chris Woakes and reduced the ball on his leg. The jerk on the leg shocked the wicketkeeper-batsman completely, and was forced to leave the field in pain.

Later, it was confirmed that the pants fractured their legs and would miss the final exam against England. However, the BCCI confirmed that Rishabh Pant would be available for batting in Manchester if necessary, but Dhruv Jurael would be taking gloves.

Meanwhile, England captain Ben Stokes dismissed India’s all -rounder Shardul Thakur in the 102nd over, as Ben Docket caught a Stunner in the street.

After his dismissal, Rishabh Pant was slowly seen going down the stairs. He obtained deaf cheers and a permanent ovation from the Manchester crowd as he made his way in the middle, and Shardul Thakur was also seen patting the pants on the head to show incredible determination.

Former England cricketer, Sky Sports, speaking on Ian ward, was absolutely surprised to see the pants out to bat and labeled it as a remarkable moment. He said:

“Pant Gingerli is making its way in the middle. This is quite remarkable for him, as he is still still in great discomfort. Now, anything can happen, in addition to quick solo. He is not running with any great freedom.”

Meanwhile, former India wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik ‘surprised’ was excited to see the method that Rishabh Pant would adopt while batting in the middle. He said:

In addition, former India’s national cricket wicketkeeper-batsman Deep Dasgupta, while speaking at the BBC Test Match Special, said that the pants can score quick runs for their side. He said:
