The pants fractured their right toe while trying a reverse sweep from Chris Woakes. The ball hit his foot, causing him to get hurt at 37 in 1 day and took him out of the ground in a golf cart. Pant returned to bat on day 2 and showed remarkable determination.
The left -handed batsman scored 54 off 75 balls, including three fours and two sixes. The fracture excluded him from the remaining part of the series, and he expects to follow the six -week recovery plan.
