The wicketkeeper-batsman is also exploring potential trade options ahead of the next season, with several teams believed to be interested in acquiring one of India’s biggest T20 stars.

There is speculation regarding trade after Pant left the captaincy of Lucknow Super Giants. He led the franchise in 28 matches over two seasons, winning 10 and losing 18, with a winning percentage of 35.71. During IPL 2025, he scored 269 runs at an average of 24.45.
In IPL 2026, the left-handed batsman scored 312 runs in 13 innings at an average of 28.36 and a strike rate of 138.05. He managed to score only one half-century during the season and Lucknow Super Giants finished bottom. Mark sheet.
