Indian batsman Rinku Singh has revealed on his love life and revealed how he first met his wife Priya Saroj. Priya, a member of the Parliament, became the second youngest member of the 2024 Lok Sabha after winning the election as a Samajwadi Party candidate.
Earlier this year, in June, Priya and Rinku Singh attended a private ceremony at the Central Hotel in Lucknow. Only close family members, friends and guests of the world of politics and cricket were selected in this program.

Rinku Singh recalled the first conversation with Priya Saroj:
Speaking at Raj Shamani’s podcast, Rinku Singh recalled his first conversation with Priya. All this began when he first saw Priya’s picture on his fan page on social media. Rinku Singh said that it was love for him at first sight because he was blown away by Priya’s beauty.
“I have a fan page called Saurabh. In 2022, Fan Page posted a story about Priya. I saw it and thought that the girl is beautiful.
Rinku further revealed that he promoted a story on his own Instagram account and eventually had the first conversation between him and Priya. He further said that Priya liked some of her pictures, before she decides to convey them and both started talking.
Rinku also claimed that he had no idea how to talk to a girl and assigned the responsibility to his Kolkata Knight Riders team partner Nitish Rana.
“Priya liked some pictures of me. So, I thought of messaging her. So, she replied. I did not know how to talk to the girls. So, I called Rana Bhai. Rana Bhai spoke to him,” Rinku said.
