Dream11 took out the online gaming bill in the Indian Parliament, the promotion of 2025 and the title sponsor of BCCI after the promotion of 2025. According to a report by NDTV, some companies have shown interest in joining as replacement sponsors before the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.
Dream11 has informed about its decision to return BCCI as Team India’s title sponsor. The fantasy sports platforms have discontinued its cash-based competitions, which were the main revenue sources for the original company Dream Sports. Dream11 signed the jersey sponsored deal of of 358 crore in July 2023.
Toyota among contenders to sponsor Team India after Dream11 exit
The BCCI has to look for a New Jersey sponsoring partner after the Dream 11 exit a few weeks before the Asia Cup 2025, which is scheduled to begin on 9 September in the UAE. In particular, the pre-taired jerseys for the tournament will now be scored.

According to a report by NDTV, Toyota Motor Corporation and a Fintech Start-Up have emerged as potential contenders to handle the sponsorship rights of the Indian cricket team.
The report said, “Toyota Motor Corporation and a Fintech Start-up have shown interest to all so far. However, the official tender process has not started yet.”
BCCI and Dream11 End Partnership Online Gaming Bill 2025 after passing
Dream 11 officials recently met BCCI CEO Hemang Amin in Mumbai to eliminate their partnership as Jersey sponsors of India. The board will now have to secure a replacement in front of the Asia Cup. It is unlikely that Team India will take the field without sponsors during the tournament.
A BCCI official said, “Representatives of Dream 11 visited the BCCI office and informed CEO Hemang Amin that they would not be able to release … As a result, they will not be the sponsor of the team for the Asia Cup. BCCI will soon swim a new tender floating.”

Asia Cup 2025 sets starting on 9 September in UAE
The Asia Cup, which will be played in the T20 format, begins in the United Arab Emirates on 9 September, hosting the Dubai and Abu Dhabi eight-team tournaments. India, defending champions, hosts are placed in Group A along with UAE, Pakistan and Oman.
Suryakumar Yadav’s side will launch its campaign against UAE on September 10, followed by a high-profile struggle against Pakistan in Dubai on 14 September. His last group-phase match will be against Oman on 19 September. The final is scheduled on 28 September.
