Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited is one of the three veterans who monitors the title sponsors of the India National Cricket Team after the exit of fantasy gaming platform Dream 11.
This latest development confirms that the India National Cricket Team, led by Suryakumar Yadav, will not take place in the Asia Cup 2025 without the lead jersey sponsor.
Dream11 exits the deal with BCCI
The Government of India recently passed the online gaming bill, promotion and regulation of 2025, which ban all forms of online money games including fantasy sports platforms such as Dream 11, My11 Circle and MPL.

The new law was passed in both houses of Parliament and received the presidency of President in August 2025. This new bill prevents users from participating in any online game, where the money is deposited with the expectation of a possible victory, and any platforms that violate these rules may face severe punishment, including a fine of up to three years and ₹ 1 crore in jail.
As this law was introduced, real-meri gaming platforms such as Dream 11 have been forced to close their paid competitions, and Dream Sports is now focusing on other commercial ideas.
Dream11, which was around $ 8 billion USD, has also supported the title sponsor of the India National Cricket Team. In particular, the three-year jersey sponsoring deal with the Indian team in Dream11 was ₹ 358-crores, including Rs 3 crore per home match and Rs 1 crore per game.

If this process is delayed, there is a possibility of men in blue, who are playing the Asia Cup tournament without lead sponsors.
