The Government of Karnataka has approved the findings of Justice John Michael D’Sunha’s report at M.Cinswamy Stadium Stadium Stadium held in Bengaluru.

On July 24, the Karnataka cabinet decided to initiate legal action against several parties, including IPL winners Royal Challengers Bangalore, Karnataka State Cricket Association and Event Management Company DNA Network.

The judicial inquiry report, led by Justice Michael Kunha, presented Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at Chinnaswamy Stamped, convicted for mixing Royal Challengers Bangalore, DNA Network and KSCA as responsible parties.

“I am not yet to read the findings and recommendations of the Judicial inquiry Commission. The report will be presented at the next cabinet meeting for July 17, where it will be discussed on threadbare, and the next course of cabinet action will decide,” CM Siddaramaiah said, “After which the cabinet has now come forward with a major decision.

Asked whether to register criminal cases against the organizers of the incident including RCB involves legal action, Mr. Patil said, “Legal action includes both citizens and criminal cases.”

The minister also assured that a departmental inquiry on several officers should be staged, which was suspended after inability to control the crowd. He also mentioned that whoever is responsible for the stampede has been indicated in the report of Justice D ‘Kunha.
