Ravindra Jadeja’s teary-eyed reaction goes viral after RR demolishes CSK in IPL 2026 clash

Ravindra Jadeja’s spectacular homecoming to Rajasthan Royals (RR) turned into one of the most dramatic yet emotional scenes of IPL 2026 as the star all-rounder bowled a match-winning spell against his old team, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Guwahati on March 30.

After 17 seasons, Ravindra Jadeja came out in pink for the first time and he not only made a comeback but came like a storm. On a slow and difficult Guwahati pitch, the left-arm spinner tore apart CSK’s middle order and scalped two crucial wickets.

Meanwhile, a small clip has created a stir on social media. As soon as CSK’s score reached 60 runs for 6 wickets, Jadeja standing near the boundary line looked very emotional.

Jadeja was fielding near the boundary when the camera panned towards him and tears were visible in his eyes. The all-rounder was seen quite emotional and was just trying to control his emotions.

Meanwhile, Jadeja said that he feels really good in his new pink jersey and added that he already knew how CSK batsmen like to attack the spinners, and that experience helped him make better and smarter plans.

Ravindra Jadeja during mid-innings discussion with broadcasters: “I think pink looks good on me, I think. I have known Shivam Dubey for a long time – I have bowled to him in the nets, so I understand how he approaches spinners. I was prepared for it and tried to bowl outside off, because I knew he would want to play big shots against me.”

Speaking about the pitch, Jadeja felt it was a bit sticky and was offering some turn from the start, but he enjoyed the conditions. “I thought the wicket was a bit sticky and the ball was turning, so I really enjoyed bowling – my job was just to bowl in the right areas and let the pitch do the rest,” he said.

Rajasthan Royals created IPL history

Notably, this was RR’s biggest win in IPL history, completing the chase with 47 balls to spare. For CSK, it was their second worst defeat in terms of balls remaining in the IPL after 59 balls against KKR at Chepauk last year.
