37-year-old Jadeja bowled many balls well outside the off-stump, which Vaibhav easily guided in the air. To baffle the aggressive top-order batsman, the experienced spinner also bowled a few balls on middle and leg, which might have troubled the southpaw.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi was dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja.

A ball on the stumps appears to have taken out Vaibhav Suryavanshi down the leg side. Jadeja’s expression showed that perhaps he had got the wicket. It is not clear from the video who won the competition. It is clear from the expressions of the players that both of them enjoyed this session very much.

Ravindra Jadeja, who started his IPL journey with the Pink City team of India, returned to Rajasthan after 17 years. In exchange for Sanju Samson, Rajasthan Royals brought in Jadeja, and the England pace all-rounder was traded to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for Sam Curran.

The Saurashtra-born player played for Rajasthan in the 2008 and 2009 seasons. After which, he played for Kochi Tuskers Kerala (now defunct), Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Lions. He played for CSK in two different stints.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi will continue his dominance in the IPL 2026 season

On the other hand, 14-year-old batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi created a stir in IPL 2025 with his stormy batting style. Suryavanshi made his IPL debut in 2025 as a replacement for the injured Sanju Samson. In his first match against Lucknow Super Giants, the Under-19 batsman scored 34 off 20. At the age of 14, he also became the youngest batsman to score a century in the league. He scored 101 runs in 38 balls against Gujarat Titans.

Suryavanshi will enter the IPL 2026 season as winners of the Under-19 ICC ODI World Cup. In the final of the tournament, against England, the Bihar batsman played a record-breaking inning of 175 runs in 80 balls. To decorate the innings, he hit fifteen fours and fifteen sixes.
