The India National Cricket Team and its coaching staff have paid heartfelt tribute to Ravindra Jadeja before the fourth Test of the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy against England at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester starting on 25 July.
On Friday, July 18, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a heartbreaking video on its official website, where Indian players and supporting employees could be paid tribute to “the most valuable player,” Ravindra Jadeja.

Jadeja’s incredible all-round skills make him a true MVP for the India National Cricket Team, and speak for themselves in his record forms. His contribution to bowling, batting and fielding is a legend of a modern era. However, he has now retired from T20i cricket.

‘Rajput Boy’ was named the “most valuable player” (MVP) of the 21st century of the 21st century. Jadeja was also famous as “The Rockstar” by the late Australian legend Shane Warne for his all-round heroines.
Meanwhile, the BCCI video featured India’s assistant coach Ryan Ten Dotk, Batting Coach Satanshu Kotk and fast bowler Mohammad Sirj. He also added a clip to Shubman Gill’s press conference and Gautam Gambhir’s dressing room speech, where the captain and head coach was seen praising Jadeja for his efforts in the ongoing test series in England.

The video was also showing a glimpse from the Lord’s Test, which was lost by 22 runs against England, as well as a few moments from the team’s training sessions, where the left -handed spinner was seen sharpening his batting, bowling and fielding with the help of assistant employees.
Looking at Jadeja’s performance at Lord’s, Gautam Gambhir said, “It was an incredible fight. Fight with Jaddu – which was absolutely fantastic.” While Shubman Gill said, “He is one of the most valuable players in India. The skill set he brings with his bowling, batting and fielding. He is the one who is very rare and difficult to find.”

On the other hand, Mohammad Sirj said, “Jaddu Bhai is extraordinary in fielding, bowling and batting. The improvement in batting – he scored in every important position for the team – is just incredible. It is very difficult for the team to find such a player. We are lucky for a player for our team.

Meanwhile, Ryan Ten Dotk praised Ravindra Jadeja, saying, “His batting has just reached another level. The last two tests, stability and peace, have brought about a change in difficult situations. Looking at him for so many years and how he has developed his game, his rescue is Rock Solid; he looks like a fair batsman.”
On the other hand, Satanshu Kotak said in the video, “I always feel that Ravindra Jadeja has the ability to take that pressure. Any person with so much experience will mature. We usually come out with some with the need of the team under any challenging circumstances.”
