New Zealand captain Michael Bracewell bowled extremely economically in Rajkot for the ODI series against India and after adding 70+ runs for India with KL Rahul, he turned the tables for New Zealand by taking the crucial wicket of Ravindra Jadeja.
Indian batsmen did not get their usual merry time in Rajkot after Kiwi captain Michael Bracewell was sent in to bat first in the second ODI. The New Zealand bowlers did everything, hitting the balls in the right places, maintaining utmost accuracy on their line and length and showing some remarkable control.
Michael Bracewell dismissed Ravindra Jadeja in the easiest way.
For India, left-handed batsman Ravindra Jadeja came to bat at number three. Virat Kohli was dismissed at number 6, unfortunately, when he clipped a ball into the stumps. Moving slowly and calmly, veteran all-rounder Jadeja built a strong partnership with KL Rahul.
However, when the partnership had gone beyond some crucial runs and both had their eyes on the ball, Michael Bracewell came back and dismissed Jadeja, one of the easiest dismissals ever seen in cricket.
The all-rounder looked to run the ball outside the off-stump towards the long-on region and instead bounced it as Bracewell took a comfortable catch, diving to his left. Jadeja was out after scoring 27 runs, due to which Nitish Kumar Reddy came on the pitch. This was Jadeja’s first catch and bowled out in his ODI career.
