Shoaib Bashir is injured in the 78th over

21-year-old off-spinner Shoaib Bashir has been a premiere spinner for the England National Cricket Team, but his performance has not been very good. Bashir has not threatened with the ball, and to make the cases worse for him, he was hurt during the Lord’s Test match.

The incident occurred in the 78th innings innings when Shoaib Bashir arrived in the middle to bowl between India’s national cricket team all -rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Kumar Reddy.

On the fifth ball of the 78th over, Shoaib Bashir bowled a length of Ravindra Jadeja, who went down from the track and looted the bowler back.

Bashir showed some courage and went to his left for low catch, but he dropped her, and the ball hit her shoes and rolled towards the mid-on.

The young spinner was winning in pain after being a hit on his hands and immediately left the ground to treat some treatment. Joe Root was called to bowl the last ball of the over, and the English team would be hoping that Shoaib Bashir did not dislike his finger.

This is not right – but you cannot play Test cricket on such pitches: Ravi Shastri

Speaking on Sky Sports, Ravi Shastri, head coach of former India national cricket team, said that pitches and Duke Balls have been a major problem in the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy and need to improve it. He said:

“This is not right – but you can’t play Test cricket on such pitches, you are going to take the crowd away. You need some speed in the surface. But you also need a good ball. If you have a good ball and a pitch that makes it interesting, it makes it for cricket. This delay is not very good.”

Ravi Shastri praised England captain Ben Stokes to make superstar wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant a great direct hit to send back. He said:

“It was unprecedented from Stokes. He understood that Pant could be a man in danger for a moment, and he moves around and hit the stumps. It was a great cricket. The great presence of the mind.”

Ravi Shastri said that Rishabh Pant’s wicket on lunch stroke acted as an incentive for England. He said:

“An inauguration is happening for England to come back and re -gather again. If India does not lose a wicket in that session, you go in and the shoulders are down. Now there is some encouragement to fresh again and see if they can move forward. Rahul’s work is to bat.”
