Former Team India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin lashed out at his former teammate Cheteshwar Pujara on social media. The joke happened after Harbhajan Singh saluted Vaibhav Suryavanshi from the commentary box during the IPL 2026 match between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Mumbai Indians (MI).

Ravichandran Ashwin trolled Cheteshwar Pujara fiercely
Star Sports India posted a video in which Harbhajan Singh is seen standing in the commentary box. The former MI captain saluted in honor of Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Ravichandran Ashwin reacted to the video on his official X account.
Cheteshwar Pujara was sitting near Harbhajan in the studio. The veteran spinner mocked Pujara for smiling awkwardly and not giving a proper salute like his fellow commentator.
“My salute too, but my dear friend Pujara didn’t salute properly,” Ravichandran Ashwin wrote along with several laughing emojis. The interaction between the two former India cricketers after the match at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium entertained many fans.

Harbhajan Singh salutes teenage sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi
Harbhajan Singh was impressed to see Rajasthan Royals’ opening batsmen dominate good fast bowlers. The veteran spinner praised the 15-year-old player during the live broadcast. He said that performing like this at such a young age is a big achievement for Vaibhav Suryavanshi.

Suryavanshi targeted Jasprit Bumrah during the second over of the innings. Facing him for the first time, Kishore hit a six on the very first ball. Later, he surprised the Mumbai Indians dugout by hitting another six in the same over.
Rajasthan Royals record joint second fastest team fifty
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi made an opening partnership of 80 runs in just five overs. Jaiswal laid the foundation of the match by scoring 22 runs on the ball of Deepak Chahar in the first over. After this both of them attacked Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult.
On the basis of aggressive batting, Rajasthan Royals completed half-century in just 2.4 overs. This equals his franchise record for the fastest team half-century in IPL history and is the joint second-fastest half-century in the tournament.
Suryavanshi was out against Shardul Thakur after scoring 39 runs in 14 balls. However, Jaiswal continued the attack and remained unbeaten on 77 off 32 balls. Rajasthan Royals scored 150/3 runs in 11 overs innings.
The team led by Hardik Pandya was successful in scoring 123 runs in the stipulated overs. They faced their second consecutive defeat in the current tournament.
