Ravindra Jadeja’s brave efforts were meaningless

Chasing the target, in the final innings, the Indian batsmen gave a terrible performance and the side was reduced by 58/4 at the end of the fourth day.
India’s poor performance continued for the fifth day as he lost 8 wickets for 112 runs for lunch and was completely out of the game.
However, Ravindra Jadeja performed a batting masterclass, scoring 61* and scored 181 balls and put 35 and 23 runs together to keep India in hunting with Bumrah and Mohammed Sirj. Finally, Jadeja’s efforts were wasted as India fell out for 170, causing a loss of 22 runs.
I was giving the message of a big cricketer throughout the match – Ravichandran Ashwin
In a video shared on his official YouTube channel, Ravichandran Ashwin revealed that he discussed the twist and twist of the Prabhu’s test with a ‘big cricketer’ and he was on the same page about the batting of Ravindra Jadeja. Both Ashwin and the unnamed cricketer felt that Jadeja should have taken a slightly higher risk chasing the clan.
“I was messaging a big cricketer throughout the match. I will not take his name, but we were discussing the match.
Ashwin commented, “He could pick up a moment with Siraj and asked him to go after Bashir as Siraj could hit a clean ball. He could kill a spinner with a slope in the leg side,” Ashwin commented.
You cannot rely on the bounce or speed of this pitch – Ravichandran Ashwin
Ravichandran Ashwin, however, defended his former bowling partner Ravindra Jadeja, saying the pitch on the proposal was a difficult and it was not easy to play the shot.
“For experts who say that he could show more intentions, I ask, how many times a batsman has gone down the ground and has gone to the dressing room? You cannot rely on the bounce or speed of this pitch. All the fielders were standing back. What is the option of Jadeja?” Ashwin said.
Ashwin said, “I felt that he played the right numbers. Ben Stokes captaincy was very good. He said that there are 70 runs. If you want to score one run per over and want to score, please do,” Ashwin said.
