Afghanistan’s international cricketers criticized Pakistan for carrying out an airstrike on a drug rehabilitation center in Kabul. According to reports, the death toll in Kabul, Afghanistan has reached 400, while 250 people have been injured.
Star cricketers of Afghanistan cricket team like Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi and Azmatullah Omarzai strongly condemned the incident. He expressed his strong protest against Pakistan and the Pakistani army which attacked a hospital in Kabul.

This incident greatly influenced Afghanistan’s legendary spinner Rashid Khan. He took to his social media account ‘X’ to express his protest against the incident. Targeting innocent lives, civilian homes, educational facilities or medical infrastructure is nothing but a crime.
“I am deeply saddened by the latest reports of civilian casualties as a result of Pakistani airstrikes in Kabul. Targeting civilian homes, educational facilities, or medical infrastructure, intentionally or accidentally, is a war crime. The disregard for human life, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, is tragic and extremely worrying.” Rashid Khan wrote on his ‘X’ post on the morning of March 17.
He believed that such incidents only spread division and hatred. He urges the United Nations and other human rights agencies to look into this matter.
“This will only fuel division and hatred. I call on the United Nations and other human rights agencies to thoroughly investigate this latest atrocity and hold the perpetrators accountable. I stand with our Afghan people in this difficult time. We will recover, and we will rise as a nation. We always do. Inshallah!” He wrote further.

Youths who came for treatment were murdered: Mohammad Nabi
Another experienced international cricketer from Afghanistan, Mohammad Nabi, described the incident as murder. He blamed Pakistani military rule for the tragic incident in Kabul.
“Tonight in Kabul, hopes were lost in a hospital. Young people seeking treatment were murdered in a bombing by the Pakistani military regime. Mothers waited at the gate calling out the names of their sons. On the 28th night of Ramadan, their lives ended,” Nabi wrote in a note on his ‘X’ post along with a video clip.

Azmatullah Umarzai told about the incident that happened tonight
Narrating his personal experience, Afghanistan cricketer Azmatullah Omarzai said that tonight he heard a powerful explosion in Kabul, and soon he saw flames coming out of a hospital which was attacked by the Pakistan Air Force.
“Early tonight, we heard a powerful explosion here in Kabul. Soon after, flames began rising into the sky from a hospital in Pakistani airstrikes. In the month of Ramadan, after people broke their fasts, innocent lives were lost, and many others were injured. My heart is with every family mourning tonight. Kabul is mourning. We pray for justice and peace,” Azmatullah Omarzai said in a statement in support of his nation. Wrote in.
