Rajat Patidar and Krunal Pandya took no time in completely dominating the GT bowlers. After Prasidh Krishna missed chances, the RCB pair dismissed GT newcomer Kulwant Khejroliya in their second over.

Royal Challengers Bangalore got off to a good start in Qualifier 1 as the successful duo of Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal once again added runs with a fifty-run partnership, giving them a solid start after the powerplay.
Rajat Patidar and Krunal Pandya defeated Kulwant Khejroliya by 28 runs.
There was a lot of silence after those two quiet overs from Rashid Khan and the double wicket of Jason Holder. However, the RCB batsmen were patient as they relied on their ability to accelerate at any point in the game.

Rajat Patidar gave some chances in the 14th over, after which he attacked Kulwant Khejroliya’s free hit in the very next over. After hitting some fours on no-balls and free hits, Khejroliya overstepped on the fourth ball of the over.
This time it was Patidar who came to the party and scored 14 runs from the last three balls, ending a huge over of 28 runs. This set the stage for the massacre that Rajat Patidar was planning to carry out in Dharamshala.
