Rajasthan Royals, after removing him as a head coach, tried to continue his relationship with Rahul Dravid and offered him a comprehensive strategic role, but he chose not to accept it.
Then, Jake Lush McCram, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rajasthan Royals participated in a manner with the franchise. He joined Rajasthan Royals (RR) as General Manager in November 2017, and after spending some time with the franchise, was promoted as Chief Operating Officer in July 2019 in July 2019, before becoming Chief Executive Officer in July 2021.
And all this happened in the midst of reports that Kerala wicketkeeper-batsman and team captain Sanju Samson has requested his release from the franchise due to some controversy.

Sanju Samson can be seen in action in the Asia Cup final
RR and Kerala Superstar Sanju Samson have been the first choice wicketkeeper-batsman for India in the Asia Cup 2025 and they are batting in the middle. So far, he has recorded scores of 56, 13 and 39 and is looking to contribute to the final against Pakistan.
Speaking in front of the match, former India all -rounder Irfan Pathan claimed that playing a deep game against Sri Lanka, who entered the super over, would help India in a clash of the summit against hardcore rivals Pakistan.
“My opinion is that the tight match against Sri Lanka, which they eventually won in the super over, is good for India. Sometimes when you play very good cricket, you sometimes get a little dull. You think everything is happening completely, you think that you can take everything.” Pathan said, “Pathan said on your YouTube channel.
“So India now suddenly understands that any team can play well on any day, just as Sri Lanka did on Friday. According to me, Sri Lanka was the number 2 team in the league stages. And they showed it here. The only team coming close to India is Sri Lanka. If they do not make some mistakes, they do not even win the match.
