Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 is scheduled to start on 26 March and end on 3 May 2026. This is the 11th edition of Pakistan’s franchise league. It has introduced new teams by the names of Hyderabad Kingsmen and Sialkot Stallionz as they prepare to expand the league in the upcoming years.
However, concerns remain regarding the PSL being held in Pakistan. According to a report by Pakistan news channel, Sama News, it is believed that the PSL 11 final will be held at a neutral venue outside the country. After the report, three countries are being considered to host the final.
PSL will be outside Pakistan
England, Dubai or United States of America are the countries which have been considered and the franchise will be decided based on the discussion. During a meeting between the PSL management and the franchises, an important discussion took place regarding holding the final outside the country and the possibility of holding the final outside Pakistan is being considered.

According to the management, the United States and England are the best places to host the PSL final.
Will UAE host PSL 2026 final?
The PCB is familiar with the UAE, having been introduced in 2016. The first two seasons were played entirely there, except for the 2017 final. The sixth season of the league, in 2021, was scheduled to be played in the United Arab Emirates due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, this time PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi is thinking of organizing the league in some other country.
England has been the home of the Pakistan national cricket team. As the Men in Green played their games in England following the 2009 terrorist attack on the Sri Lanka national cricket team, six members of the team were injured, and six Pakistani policemen and two civilians were killed.
After six years in 2015, the team returned to their home country to play their first game in Pakistan against Zimbabwe. Keeping in mind the cricket development of the allied countries and to gather fans in the stadium, the United States can also be the venue to host the league.
Mohsin Naqvi is in bad trouble
UAE has been one of Pakistan’s homes as they have adapted to the conditions. However, under the leadership of Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan cricket has found itself in chaos ranging from the India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup controversy to many others.
The first match, scheduled for March 26, will be Lahore Qalandars vs Hyderabad Kingsmen at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. However, the change of locations may incur additional expenses to the franchisee. Fans are waiting for the official news about where the tournament will be played.
