Former Indian Test batsman Prithvi Shaw was seen arguing with Mumbai players and Mushir Khan after being dismissed a few runs before his brilliant double century.
Mumbai -born 25 -year -old cricketer, who came into a spectacular form in the early years of his debut after performing brilliantly for India in the U19 World Cup. He has also played for India in 5 matches and has scored his first century in the second innings of his first Test match.
Shaw has scored around 4500 runs in first class cricket, participating in more than 58 matches for Mumbai in the Indian domestic circuit. The batsman has also scored 13 first -class centuries and his highest individual score is 379.

After some unrelated performances for the Mumbai state cricket team, he was dropped from the season team due to their weak performance. He later moved into the Maharashtra team for the domestic season of 2025-26.
After transferring to Maharashtra, he has already started a lot. Now, playing in a practice match between Maharashtra and his former team Mumbai, Shaw started with a brilliant century on the first day.
After being dismissed against Sarfaraz Khan’s brother, Mushir Khan, who bowls part-time off-spin to Mumbai, Shaw was seen arguing with the bowler as well as several other players of the Mumbai camp. The umpire intervened and separated the players and helped Prithvi Shaw lead to the dressing room to avoid any further confrontation on the field.

Shaw and Arshin Kulkarni’s triple century partnership in practice match for Maharashtra
After deciding to bat, Prithvi Shaw started the innings with fellow opener Arshin Kulkarni and both added a large number of runs in the first innings of the batting.
Arshin Kulkarni scored a brilliant 186 runs off just 140 balls, the left -handed batsman contributed to a huge 305 -run huge opening partnership, while Prithvi Shaw was batting at the other end by scoring 116 off 159 balls.
Kulkarni was the first batsman from Maharashtra to be dismissed in the 50th over of the innings, while Shaw scored 65 off just 60 balls in his innings. Shaw was dismissed by 181 runs off 219 balls.

Maharashtra will start his Ranji Trophy season in 2025-26 with the first match against Kerala on October 15 and then face Chandigarh in his second game. After these games, the remaining games of his season have been determined Saurashtra, Karnataka, Punjab, Goa and Madhya Pradesh.
Prithvi Shaw will be trying desperate to prove his utility in front of Indian selectors, as the batsman who was once called the future of Indian cricket has been dropped from the Indian team. For more than 5 years, this batsman has been waiting for Team India to return.
