Team India’s strong performance in the final
India’s victory was built on a brilliant batting performance in the final. The team scored a huge score of 255 runs for five wickets, which is the highest score so far in the T20 World Cup final.
Sanju Samson played a brilliant inning of 89 runs in 46 balls and led the innings with confidence and enthusiasm. Abhishek Sharma Provided explosive pace by scoring the fastest half-century of the tournament in just 18 balls, eventually scoring 52 runs in 21 balls.
Ishan Kishan added more aggression by scoring a quickfire 54 off 25 balls, while Shivam Dubey finished the innings strongly with an unbeaten 26 off just eight balls.
New Zealand struggled to maintain momentum during the chase and were restricted to 159 for nine in 20 overs. Jasprit Bumrah bowled sensationally, taking four wickets for just 15 runs, while Axar Patel gave him excellent support by taking 3 wickets for 27 runs.
