Bharatiya Pesar Prasad Krishna opened about the absence of Jasprit Bumrah in the fifth and final Test match due to workload management. Prasad said Bumrah’s absence does not disrupt the focus or preparation of other pacers, given that it gives others a chance to step and distribute the ball.
Jasprit Bumrah was not selected for the fifth Test match at the Oval. The team management had planned to play only five out of five tests for him during his tour of England. On Friday, August 1, the BCCI officially confirmed that the senior pacer was released from the squad as part of that strategy.

“Of course not. Bumrah is playing or not playing [doesn’t affect the preparation of other bowlers]We all spend a lot of time with each other in bowlers or general bowlers. We know what everyone has to do when their chance comes. It is still the same. Playing him, he is not playing; I think as bowlers we know what our roles are.
The 29 -year -old asked to add, “He is going there, you know what he brings in the picture and when he is not there, a challenge is that every time you have a ball, a challenge is this.”

Prasad Krishna also talked about not playing in every match, stating that his selection is based on the needs of the team. He emphasized that the missing game allows them to improve.
“I have been chosen here because I can work. I’m not playing the game, I can go to the drawing board. To work for the team here. This is a process, not a performance for me,” Prasad said.
Prasad started the England series as India’s third seamar. However, his performance was low. He retained his place for a second test in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, but managed to take only one wicket.
