Punjab Kings batsman Prabhsimran Singh is embroiled in a new controversy, but this time regarding his health.
On Wednesday, allegations were made that this uncapped batsman has adopted a somewhat unhealthy lifestyle and his weight has increased significantly. It was also reported that this affected the form of Punjab Kings as a team.

Some sources in the sports media sector had reported that Prabhsimran Singh had gained an unprecedented 10 kg of weight during IPL 2026. The report claimed that PBKS players were overall very undisciplined, as they were missing flights and not coming to morning practices.

In response to the allegations, Prabhasimran decided to take to his Instagram. On Wednesday, he uploaded an Instagram Story with a full view of his torso and silence emojis.
Prabhsimran is not the only Punjab player under investigation
Punjab Kings themselves have been front and center when it comes to controversies in recent times. Two days ago, he had to inform fast bowler Arshdeep Singh to cut down on his vlogging and reels.
After some incidents came to light, Arshdeep Singh himself got caught in a new controversy. Notably, the fact that his alleged girlfriend was seen on the PBKS team bus despite a BCCI order against doing so.
