Display of Palestinian flag at Jammu cricket match triggers police investigation
A private cricket tournament in Jammu has turned into a major controversy and a police investigation has been initiated after a player displayed a Palestinian flag on the field, which has now taken social media by storm.
This shocking incident has come to light at a time when similar cases have been reported in other parts of the country. Earlier in July 2025, four youths were arrested in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh for wearing T-shirts with Palestinian flags during the Tajiya procession.
In the same month, another person was arrested for waving the Palestinian flag during a Muharram procession in Agra. These incidents raise serious questions on the intentions behind this act.
