A herd of flies attacks the match between India-Pakistan players, the umpire forced to stop the game
Pakistan, headed by Harmanpreet Kaur and Pakistan, is closing the horns with each other in the high-voltage match of ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 at R. Premdasa Stadium, Colombo on Sunday, October 5, led by Fatima Sana.
A couple of events came to light before bowling the first ball in the match. In the toss, Harmanpreet flipped the coin and Fatima said Tales.
However, for everyone’s surprise, Mail Jones and Match Referee thought he said it was the head, and as it came as a head, Pakistan won the toss. The Pakistan captain also did not give any clarification and simply accepted the result.
Then, after a chat with Mail Jones, Fatima Sana went back to her dugout without accepting Harmanpreet Kaur, which was not in the mood to join hands with the Pakistani counterpart.
Meanwhile, India has struggled to bat first and is not able to accelerate the innings. During the innings, a bizarre incident occurred due to which the match stayed for about 15 minutes.
A lot of insects/ flies/ insects invaded the ground and stopped the play after the 34th over. This happened due to rain in Colombo.
Meanwhile, Dhuman took place in the middle, and insect control spray was used to clean the ground.

The field of focus is cricket – the expert salve
The Asia Cup 2025 was filled with controversies related to India and Pakistan, and similar issues were expected to happen when the two teams faced the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. However, speaking in front of the match, India bowling coach Azhar Salvi said that his focus is only on cricket. He said:
“The field of focus is cricket. We want our girls to bring the ‘A’ game for that day. We want them to take it as just a game, because the World Cup is a long campaign. It’s a long campaign – a long campaign – a lot of games will come.”
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s female captain Fatima Sana also left comment with similar lines, saying that they are not focusing on the noise outside.
Sana said a day before the match against India, “We have great relations with all our teams, and we try and have good relations with everyone.” “We will try to do everything within the spirit of the game.
“Those pictures in the past with everyone around Bismah’s daughter – they look good and everyone enjoys looking at it. But, of course, our attention is on what we are here to play here.
“We are like a family of 20-22 people here,” Sana said about the atmosphere of the Pakistan team. “We really don’t worry about what is happening outside our bubbles. We get to hear about external things for cricket, but we focus on our game. The World Cup is something that wait for every player, so we just want to focus on what we have come here.”
