Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) opener Phil Salt is on a mission to pull off some spectacular catches in the opening match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.
Reigning champions Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) host Ishan Kishan-led Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the opening match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Phil Salt took brilliant catches against SRH in IPL 2026
Salt began his catching masterclass with a fine catch off the last ball of the third over off Jacob Duffy to send back explosive opener Travis Head.
He then took a blinder off Romario Shepherd near the boundary line to dismiss explosive wicketkeeper Heinrich Klaasen for 31 runs on the first ball of the 14th over.
After that, Phil Salt took things to the next level as he took an absolutely incredible catch to send Ishan Kishan back to the hut.
On the sixth ball of the 16th over, Abhinandan Singh bowled a full toss ball to Ishan Kishan outside the off stump. The SRH captain tossed the ball in the air and it went past Phil Salt.
The Englishman charged to his right before moving forward with one hand and managed to complete a stunning catch, dismissing Ishan Kishan for 80 off 38 balls.
