Tension is increasing in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025, as the Indian cricket team has allegedly planned a bold stance against Pakistan and the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). After its controversial handshake snub against Pakistan, India has now made a special plan for the final on retaining the trophy.
The Indian cricket team has allegedly decided that they will not share the presentation designs with the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi, who is also the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), if they win the Asia Cup 2025 finals in Dubai on 28 September.

The Chairman of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is expected to traditionally present the winner’s trophy, but India is not ready to accept the cup directly from Mohsin Naqvi, who is also the Minister of control of internal and narcotics in the current Pakistan government.

A sensational report by PTI wrote, “It is firmly learned that if India makes the final of the tournament on September 28, the players will not share the presentation Days with Naqvi, which is expected to hand over the winner’s trophy as the ACC head.”
India remains to maintain a no-handshake trend for the rest of the Asia Cup 2025
It is also being said that India’s No-Handshek decision will continue in the entire Asia Cup 2025 in the United Arab Emirates. India may face Pakistan at least twice in the ongoing tournament, including a possible final, their next meeting in the Super Four Stage is possible.
Currently, India is leading the UAE and Group A after winning the UAE and Pakistan in the ongoing continental tournament. His final group match is scheduled against Oman on Friday, September 19. However, he has confirmed his place in the Super Four Round.
On the other hand, Pakistan is second in Group A Point Table, which defeated Oman in its opener. They will take the next time to UAE on Wednesday, 17 September, which aims to get a place in the Super Four Round of the ongoing Asia Cup 2025.

PCB Handshek blames the match referee for scandal
Later, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) blamed the match referee Andy Pycroft for the incident and demanded the removal of it. The PCB filed complaints with the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and demanded the intervention of the International Cricket Council (ICC) citing India’s unnatural behavior and increasing political tension between the two nations.
