Pakistan has seen many finishers coming and going, but some have left a mark as Asif Ali as unique. The 33 -year -old explosive batsman has announced his retirement from international cricket, ending his career which was low in number but was rich in unforgettable moments.
Asia Ali played 21 Odis and 58 T20Is for men in Green and played the role of Finisher, usually in mid -order, and this brought them both fame and criticism. His most famous knock came in the 2021 T20 World Cup, when green people were in great trouble against Afghanistan.

Announcing his decision, Asif said that wearing a green jersey was the greatest honor of his life. The hard-touching batsman also confirmed that he would continue to play domestic cricket and franchise league worldwide.
Asif Ali posted in a social media post: “Wearing Pakistan Jersey has been the biggest honor of my life, and serving my country in the field of cricket has been my biggest chapter. I have retired with immense gratitude and will continue to share my passion for the game by playing domestic and league cricket around the world.”
He finished his international cricket career in 21 Odis in 382 runs and 577 runs in 58 T20I. However, their number in domestic cricket is far more impressive than international people, 1777 runs in 43 first-class games, 2388 runs in 99 List-A game and 4737 runs in 302 T20 games.
