The Pakistan national cricket team will tour England for a five-match ODI series in May 2027, and the schedules for the same have been announced. Before that, they have a Test series in the upcoming month this year, where the Men in Green will face the England national cricket team in a three-match Test series starting on August 19.
The ODI series in May will be preparation for the ODI World Cup 2027, which is scheduled to take place in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia in October to November later that year. This would be a good time for both the teams to try and test their best possible playing XI and their bench strength ahead of the major tournament.
Pakistan and England are set for a blockbuster clash
The series is scheduled to begin on May 15 in Southampton. It will then head to Manchester’s prestigious Emirates Old Trafford ground on May 19 for the second game, followed by Leeds (May 21), Chester-le-Street (May 23) and then the fifth and final game at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on May 26.
Currently, the Men in Green will be up against West Indies for a two-match Test series. Babar Azam has once again been appointed the captain of the team after the recent failure of the Test team, which has placed them at the bottom in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-2027 cycle.

The last time Pakistan visited England on an ODI tour was five years ago in 2021, when the Three Lions clean swept them and the hosts won the series 3-0.
Babar Azam was the leading run-scorer in the three-match ODI series, scoring 177 runs in the three matches, including an innings of 158 runs in the third ODI as Pakistan failed to defend the target of 333 runs in the final game of the series.
