During a chat on Fawad Alam’s YouTube channel, Iftikhar Ahmed shared a funny moment about his famous nickname “Chacha”. The story of “Chacha” began during a training session when Pakistani teammates teased him for being one of the senior players on the team.
This nickname became popular among fans. At first Iftikhar did not like it and once even said that he was still young and did not want to be called uncle. But as time passed, the Pakistan all-rounder accepted it and this name eventually became his identity.

Son calls him ‘uncle’, Iftikhar Ahmed is shocked
Even while interacting with the media, he used this nickname in a smart and funny manner. On one occasion, Iftikhar jokingly called Babar Azam his “nephew”, which made the journalists laugh even more.
Now, the veteran cricketer has revealed another amusing yet interesting story. Iftikhar revealed that his own son once called him “uncle” at home. That moment surprised and pleased him at the same time. He immediately corrected his son and told him to call him “brother” instead.

Pakistan announces Bangladesh tour amid T20 World Cup
Well, Pakistan has once again shown that they are true friends of Bangladesh, as the PCB has announced a white-ball tour of Bangladesh in March 2026. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and the PCB confirmed the three-match ODI series on Friday, February 20.
Pakistan will reach Bangladesh on March 9. The team will have a training session on March 10 to get used to the conditions. The first ODI will be played on March 11 at Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

The second match will be held on March 13 and the third and final ODI will be held on March 15. All three matches will be held in the same stadium in Dhaka.
This will be Pakistan’s second tour of Bangladesh since July 2025. On their previous tour, Pakistan played a three-match T20I series but lost to Bangladesh 2–1.
But when Bangladesh toured Pakistan for a T20 series in May and June last year, Salman Ali Aga and his team dominated by winning the series 3-0 on home soil.
Currently, Pakistan cricket team will play against R.K. in Colombo on Saturday, 21st February. India are preparing to face New Zealand in their first Super 8 match of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026 at the Premadasa Stadium.
