Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a bold and refreshing squad for the upcoming on Monday, 25 August. Star all-rounder Fatima Sana is fully prepared to captain the 15-member squad, while wicketkeeper-boss Muniba Ali will work as a vice-captain in the upcoming ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. Meanwhile, Diana Baig, Alia Riaz, Sidra Amin, and Omima Sohail balanced and experienced the next side.

Additionally, Pakistan consists of five travel reserves- Mul Feroza, Najiha Alvi, Tuba Hasan, Um-e-Hani and Wahad Akhtar- for the tournament. Interestingly, earlier this year, the ICC Women’s World Cup was part of the World Cup qualifier, Feroza and Alvi are now nominated in the standby list.

PCB to conduct a training camp ahead of ODI World Cup

PCB said in an official media release: “15 players with five reserve players will participate in 14-day east.South Africa Series Camp from Friday, August 29. Under the coaching staff led by Muhammad Wasim, players will go through practice sessions as well as 50 over practice matches. More information about the camp will be announced in the appointed time. South Africa’s women’s cricket team will reach Lahore on 12 September. ,

Before leaving for Sri Lanka, Pakistan is set to face South Africa in a three -match ODI series in Lahore from 16 September to 22 September. And the same squad, announced for the mega event, will take the Proteus side in the upcoming ODI series.
