Former Pakistan fast bowler Tanveer Ahmed has tried to reduce the testing credibility of Indian speedster Mohammad Sirj, but was redeemed by his own anchor in a live TV show. Mohammad Siraj is currently playing in the third Test of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy against England at Lord’s.

Sirj bowled 23.3 overs and scored 85 runs, while England scored 387 runs in their first innings in their first innings in the ongoing third Test of the five -match Test series at the prestigious Lord’s Cricket Ground, and scored 85 runs. Pesar had several occasions, but was dropped by the fielders.

Two Pakistanis struggled on Mohammad Siraj’s Test credibility

As India and England are facing each other in Lord’s, a video of Tanveer Ahmed and PTV sports anchor Asif Khan is making a warm exchange on a live TV show on Mohammad Siraj’s caliber. The argument was extended to the extent that both questioned their standards.

However, he was talking about Sirj’s amazing bowling performance in the second Test at Edgbaston, where Siraj took 6 wickets in the first innings and then managed a wicket in the second innings, which was to play his role in India’s record-breaking 336-Run victory over England.

I do not see Mohammad Siraj as a test level bowler: Tanveer Ahmed

All this began when the anchor reminded Tanveer of his previous comment, saying, “You don’t consider Siraj as a Test match bowler; you said it in the previous event.” Tanveer doubled and remained firm on his stance, saying that he still does not see Siraj as a “top level test bowler”.

When Asif asked former Pakistan Pacer, “What is your level?” He left Tanveer fierce, and asked that a journalist could question his standard before saying that he was a Test cricketer. Well, then Asif said that Siraj is currently taking wickets in England and questioned Tanveer’s decision and asked what standard he is using to make such claims.

“What is your standard?”

Tanveer defended himself by saying, “My level, thank God, I am a test cricketer.” However, the anchor has clarified that he was not insulting Tanveer’s career, but his opinion does not match the current results, as Sirj’s performance speaks for himself in the ongoing test series.

In the clip, Asif Khan can be heard saying, “What is your standard? A man is taking wickets in England, and you are saying that he is not a Test match bowler. Then what is your standard?” To which, Tanveer said, “You are saying that I have no standard. I have a standard of Pakistan.”

The anchor said, “I did not mean that you have no standard. I am talking according to the standard of performance. And Siraj is doing a great job at this time in the test.”
