In an absolutely shocking development, the Pakistan National Cricket Team has decided to boycott the Asia Cup 2025 match against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) National Cricket Team.
Pakistan was to take the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the 10th match of Asia Cup 2025 at Dubai International Stadium on Wednesday, 17 September.
Pakistan comes out of virtual knockout against UAE
The match between Pakistan and the UAE was considered a virtual knockout, as the winning team moved forward on the Super Four Stage. The India National cricket team has already qualified for the Super Force, and Oman has already ended with the competition.

Meanwhile, Pakistan players have been asked to stay back in the hotel and board the team bus according to several reports. The team management has informed the players that they will not play matches against the UAE.
The decision has been taken by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), which is likely to refuse to remove ICC’s Andy Picroft as a match referee for their matches.
A source in the Hindustan Times said, “The team has now been asked not to travel to the stadium. The bag and kit are all loaded in the team, but the team is asked to live. The dedallock remains between the PCB and the ICC,” a source to Hindustan Times.
