Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria has supported the recent criticism of former Team India all-rounder Irfan Pathan Shahid AfridiKaneria, who played with Afridi for the Pakistan National Cricket Team, ruled the controversy by accusing the former captain of former Pakistan of resorting to personal Digs.

Danish Kaneria reacted to the viral clip of Irfan Pathan’s comments. Kaneria also criticized Shahid Afridi’s behavior, alleging lack of “class and decency”. The former leg-spinner said that the captain of the East-Pakistan often resorted to personal attacks.
“Irfan bhai, you are completely correct. He always resorts to personal attacks – this is on someone’s family or their religion. Classes and decency are clearly not their strength,” Kaneria wrote on X (was previously known as Twitter).

Danish Kaneria represented Pakistan in 61 tests in a decade long career. He lives at an average of 34.79 with 261 wickets with the country’s most successful spinner in Red-Ball cricket, including 15 five-ics halls. Kaneria last played a Test match against England in Nottingham in 2010.
He recorded a career-secretary figures of 7 for 77 in 2003 Bangladesh At Bangabandhu National Stadium. Only Wasim Akram, Waswas Younis and Imran Khan have taken more wickets for Pakistan in the format.
This is not the first time Danish Kaneria has targeted Shahid Afridi
First, Danish Kaneria Shahid Afridi accused him of converting to Islam and refusing to share food with him. Kaneria also claimed that Afridi supports extremist ideas and said that it should not be given a platform in India.
“They have consistently aligned themselves with extremist ideas. In my opinion, they should not be given a platform on Indian television or within the country.
