Big claims against Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Major League Cricket (MLC) franchises have alleged that the PCB is charging huge fees for issuing No Objection Certificates (NOC) for their players.
According to reports, MLC officials brought the matter to the attention of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi to resolve it, as it does not seem natural for a national cricket board to demand money for issuing NOC.
Pakistan Cricket Board defends $25,000 NOC fee after MLC franchises raise concerns
Another surprising twist in the case came when the MLC tried to attract Mohsin Naqvi’s attention in his quest for justice. It is reported that as soon as the franchise league officials raised the matter with the Pakistan cricket governing body, the PCB responded that it was their right to ask for money for the NOC and it was a source of their revenue.
According to the report of PakPassion, PCB is accused of demanding a fee of $ 25,000 from the MLC franchise for issuing NOC for the players.
