India will continue to win, this is not a problem – Rashid Latif

Rashid Latif said that cricket rivalry between India and Pakistan will continue as long as there is political tension between nations. However, the cricketer-turn-expert said that India dominates the ground.

Talking to the Times of India, Latif said, “There will be rivalry. Jab tak jung hai tap tak cricket ki rivalry rahegi. This will be Khatam Nahi (As long as there is war, there will be rivalry in cricket. It will not end),” Latif said while talking to Times of India.

Disadvantage will be for India – East -Pakistan captain

Rashid Latif said that Pakistan would enter the competition as an underdog to reduce, while India would be overwhelming. He said that a Pakistan victory will increase the pressure on BCCI and players.

“The disadvantage will be for India. India has everything to lose. Pakistan has nothing to lose, they are already underdogs,” Latif continued.

He said, “If Pakistan wins here, it will be very difficult for BCCI and even for some players who have been very vocal about this tournament, whether it is captain’s statement, board stance, or Shubman Gill’s tweet.”

India suffered an injury before the final, as Abhishek Sharma and Hardik Pandya were struggling with cramps during the last Super Four match against Sri Lanka. Both players spent significant time from the ground but were approved to play in the title clash.
