India plays according to terms – Rashid Latif
Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif warned that Pakistan’s tendency to remove the trend often worked against India in matches. He said that India has been successful with his composition and adaptation to match the circumstances.
He said, “We get emotional or hyper and try to do everything at once. India plays according to the circumstances and situation – that’s why they succeed,” he said.
Latif said that Hardik Pandya is a game-changer, while Suryakumar Yadav, Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson provide stability. He said that Jasprit Bumrah is a match winner due to accurate bowling in T20I.
“The accuracy is everything in T20is, and Bumrah is unmatched,” Latif said.
He also mentioned that Pakistan can get a benefit from recent experience on spin-friendly pitches.
Pakistan to start Asia Cup 2025 campaign on 12 September
Pakistan will launch its Asia Cup 2025 campaign on Friday, September 12, with a group A match against participants Oman for the first time at Dubai International Stadium. There will be a match against Archaerals India just two days before their much awaited match.
The men enter the tournament in Green after lifting the UAE Tri-series title. He defeated Afghanistan by 75 runs in the final match. The team already accepted the terms of the United Arab Emirates through that series.
Pakistan has a mixed record in the T20I version of the Asia Cup. He has five wins and five defeats in his name, coming as runners -up in 2022 with his best performance. Overall, he has achieved the Asia Cup only twice in his cricket history.
