Historically, Lord has not been a great site for spinners. But England coach Brendon McCullum has publicly asked for a green and bouncy surface, which can help a wrist-spinner like Kuldeep. Their wrist spin can bring more variety and bounce on such a pitch.
But there is no expectation of major changes in India’s XI. The most obvious is a possibility that Jasprit Bumrah is returning to Xi in place of the famous Krishna. There is also a conversation to bring into an additional bowler if the conditions are green. In that case, left -arm pacer Arshdeep Singh can get the node.
