On Monday, August 25, Oman Cricket announced the 17-man squad of the Oman National Cricket Team for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.
Jatinder Singh has been nominated as the captain of the Oman National Cricket Team for the Continental Tournament, and the Dalip Mendis will serve as the head coach.
Team Oman set for first attendance in Asia Cup
The Oman National cricket team will be making its first presence in the Asia Cup in the upcoming edition of the tournament. He is placed in Group A along with India, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.

Oman secured a place for the competition after finishing as runners up at home at home as runners -up at the 2024 ACC Premier Cup.
They will be hoping to influence the cricket world in their first presence at the event, and will ensure that the team achieves that goal, the selectors have chosen a strong squad.
Veteran opener Jatinder Singh will lead the team that includes Hammad Mirza, Mohammad Madem and Vinayak Shukla in the batting lineup.
