Ollie Robinson joins Ian Botham in elite England club
After dismissing Ayub, Robinson has become the first England bowler since Ian Botham to reach 100 Test wickets while maintaining a career bowling average below 20. His bowling average of 19.34 at the 100-wicket mark is one of the best seen since the First World War.
In fact, only Vernon Philander has matched a bowling average below 20 in this century while reaching 100 Test wickets. Robinson’s record puts him among some of the greatest bowlers in Tests. Amid this, Umar Gul hits back at Jason Gillespie over cold weather comments.
