Sri Lanka national cricket team fast bowler Nuwan Thushara has been ruled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, which is a big blow for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
To deal with his absence, Indian Premier League 2025 champions, RCB have roped in English cricketer Richard Gleeson for the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.

Richard Gleeson replaces Nuwan Thushara in RCB for IPL 2026
According to the official statement of IPL, Nuwan Thushara has been ruled out of IPL 2026 due to injuries. Furthermore, Gleeson has joined RCB for Rs 1.6 crore.
