India refused to collect Asia Cup 2025 Trophy from Mohsin Naqvi

The post -match presentation was delayed as Mohsin Naqvi blocked someone from presenting the Asia Cup 2025 trophy under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav in India. The PCB president went with the trophy for his hotel.

Indian players Tilak Verma, Kuldeep Yadav and Abhishek Sharma gathered their personal awards from sponsors, while men in Blue celebrated their victory by posing without the trophy.

The ACC chairperson was designed to hand over the title according to the protocol. However, India snatched Naqvi due to its controversial tasks and statements. ACC officials and chairman of the Emirates Cricket Board Khalid Al Zaroni tried to convince Naqvi about the presentation.

Simon Doul formally concluded the proceedings, stating that the Indian team would not take the trophy. “Women and gentlemen, I have been informed by the Asian Cricket Council that the Indian cricket team will not collect their awards tonight. So it concludes the post -match presentation,” Dole said.
