Angkarish Raghuvanshi or Ramdeep Singh could do business for Samson
According to this report, there is a possibility that Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) may trade young batting sensation Angkarish Raghuvanshi or explosive all-rounder Ramamip Singh for Rajasthan Royals skipper.
This is because RR wants to create a strong middle order for the next season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), and if they are unable to get the players they want, an all-kash deal can be done.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) made a poor outing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, as he finished ninth with just four wins in 14 matches.
Things did not go like herself in batting or bowling departments, only with the emergence of a 14 -year batting sensation, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who set the stage on fire and sealed his place in XI playing as an opener.
Talking about Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), he was also struggling under Ajinkya Rahane’s captaincy and finished eighth, with just five wins.
In addition to Samson’s own squad, there may be a game-shineer as he is in dire need of an Indian wicketkeeper-batsman and possibly a new leader. In addition, the rope is seen in Kumar Sangakkara after farewell to KKR Chandrakant Pandit.
Why did the RR-CSK deal not take place for Sanju Samson?
Before coming to the KKR picture, there were reports that Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson would be traded in Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
The five-time champion also showed interest in the wicketkeeper-batsman, but Ruturaj Gikwad, Ravindra Jadeja, or Shivam was not ready to trade for Samson.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have never traded other franchise players and this trend is likely to continue.
