Kolkata Knight Riders star batter Nitish Rana has decided to go from Uttar Pradesh cricket to Delhi cricket in domestic cricket. The migration has been marked as the possibility of acting in the upcoming season of the Delhi Premier League.

The left -handed batsman was recently seen captaining a franchise in the T20 league of the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association, and since the UPCA T20 League is around the same time as DPL, Rana’s participation with UPCA found him inept for participation in DPL.

A BCCI source said. “He has not taken any objection certificate (NOC) from UP and is officially eligible to represent Delhi, but he can only play DPL next year.”

DPL plans of Nitish Rana have been stopped by BCCI rule

BCCI sources in Cricblogger revealed that Nitish Rana would not be allowed to act in the upcoming season of the Delhi Premier League, which would be played later this year.

Rana moved from Mumbai Indians to Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2018, and since then he has scored 2199 runs for the KKR team. He is playing 14 half -centuries for Kolkata Knight Riders, with a total of 20 fifties under his belt.
