In the last week, speculations roam to promise Indian all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy And with his future Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)Indian Premier League (IPL) owned by franchise Kavya MaranReports suggested that after a challenging IPL 2025 season, Reddy was considering a exhaust, which was unhappy with its role in the team.
Are Nitish Reddy SRH ways to be farewell?
The speculation began when some media outlets reported that the IPL 2025 mega auction by Reddy, SRH was maintained for 6 crores ahead, was dissatisfied with his batting position and limited bowling opportunities during the season. Despite a breakout 2024 in which he scored 303 runs and became an important person in SRH’s revival, Reddy managed just 182 runs in 13 shows – often batting under the order and bowling only a handful of overs.
These reports quickly obtained traction, indicating that the player could get a new opportunity with another franchise before IPL 2026, especially SRH finished sixth in 2025-disappointing follow-up for his run in the finals a year earlier.
On Sunday (27 July), Reddy addressed speculation directly through X (East Twitter), writing:
“I stay away from noise, but some things deserve clarity. My relationship with SRH is built on years of trust, respect and shared passion. I will always stand with this team.”

I will always stand from this team.– Nitish Kumar Reddy (@Nkreddy07) 27 July, 2025
This message made it clear that not only the rumors were baseless, but Reddy’s association with Kavaya Maran’s owned franchise is deep. He highlighted the trust and mutual honor shared with the SRH management, which has seen him developing with the team to an international-caliber player from a domestic talent during his time.
