He retired from international cricket at the age of 29, most likely to focus on the global T20 league worldwide.
He is one of the best batsmen in 20 overs cricket and is in high demand in all T20 leagues including IPL, MLC, The Hundred, SA20, CPL, ILT20 and others.
Meanwhile, Nicolas Gorn CPL 2025 will lead a star-staded Trinbago Knight Riders as the squad includes the choice of Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Alex Hales and others.
In a video shared by TKR, Nicholas Gorn said he is absolutely hungry and watching to get his hands on the trophy.
“We are back, we are hungry, we want to win the title and most importantly we want to do it for Trinidad and Tobago and our fans from all over the world. Representing Trinidad and Tobago is the first and at the forefront of an honor and privilege.
“Whatever they have passed by me, I am getting that opportunity, now decide on the cricket field, if they try to impress the game as much as possible, it is expected to put it in our favor.”

This year is going to be special for us, come out and support us – Nicholas Putra
Nicholas Goran further said that it would be a great respect for players like Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narin and urged fans to support the side. He explained in detail:
“So this is a good feeling because we talk about cricket every day, we play cricket in this way and hopefully this year is our one and we can make it really memorable for us this year.”
“The most satisfactory thing for me is that these people are still playing and just to take them to the field, it matters a lot to me.
This is an experience that I definitely know that I will not forget and just want to put my best leg forward and hope that everything will be in our favor. This year is going to be special for us, come out and support us, let’s make CPL a team in the carnival. ,
It is always important to plan for the future as a leader – Dwayne Bravo
Dwayne Bravo recently took over as the head coach of the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR), and appreciated Kieron Pollard and appreciated the right time to move away from the role of leadership and pass Baton to pass Nicolas Gorn. He said:
“It is important as a leader to always plan for the future. Polly and I and I share the same values in life in different ways and now the transition goes to Niki P, who is someone who is playing and learning so much cricket and as players and you know, I think he is the right option at the right time.”
Meanwhile, Kieron Pollard stated that it was a fairly easy decision for him as Dwayne Bravo came to the board, a new face that leads to the side. He said:
“So it was an easy decision for me, you know, after last year, thinking about coming on the board with Bravo, you know, the new head coach and I just thought that this is the right time that if we can get a new captain to continue that transitional period.”
“And he understands how we want to play cricket, the winning culture that we want to create, again a homegron boy and again he shares a lot of respect with many players around the world, not only in Trinidad and Tobago and Caribbean. So I think it was very easy and it’s something that we are preparing to ride him.”
