New Zealand will face Bangladesh in the 11th match of the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. The match is scheduled to be held on Friday (October 10) at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.

Along with Pakistan, New Zealand is the only team which has not been able to perform well in the current tournament so far. They have started their campaign with consecutive defeats and will be desperate to open their account by winning the upcoming matches.

Their campaign began with an 89-run defeat to trans-Tasman rivals Australia. Chasing 327, New Zealand were all out for 237 despite a brilliant 112 from their captain Sophie Devine. After this, they had to face defeat by six wickets at the hands of South Africa in the last match.

Whereas Bangladesh is at fourth position in the points table with one win and one loss. Their campaign started with a 7 wicket win over Pakistan. In their second game, Bangladesh gave a strong scare to England but ultimately lost the match.

Defending a modest score of 179, Bangladesh restricted England to 78/5 and later 103/6, but Heather Knight’s unbeaten 79 denied them a famous victory.
