New Zealand Cricket has unveiled the full schedule for the Sri Lanka tour in 2027 and Bangladesh Women’s tour of New Zealand in 2026 as part of a busy international domestic summer. Veteran leg spinner Ish Sodhi admitted that there is always a different level of excitement in a match against India.
“Playing India is always a special occasion. They are an incredible cricket team, brimming with talent and star power – you know it will be seriously challenging every time you face them. The rivalry we have built over recent years is amazing and I’m sure this tour will provide many more big moments.”
Sodhi also talked about the kind of atmosphere Indian supporters create whenever they travel.
“Then there are the Indian fans and the energy and noise they bring – it’s really like nothing else and everyone should experience it at least once in their life.”
