Nandre Berger bids a fond farewell to Suryakumar Yadav in RR vs MI clash

Suryakumar Yadav got out cheaply against Rajasthan Royals (RR) when Mumbai Indians (MI) needed him the most. In a rain-prone match at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati, home team Rajasthan Royals made an impressive score of 150 runs in 11 overs.

Due to rain in the evening the match could not start on schedule. Due to shorter match time, the total number of overs was also reduced. The 20 over match was revised to 11 overs.

Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Nandre Berger’s huge celebration after dismissing MI’s Suryakumar Yadav

Batting first, RR reached the top of the run mountain in limited overs on the back of explosive innings from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Mumbai Indians had no option but to repeat the asking run rate to win the game.

In an attempt to score runs quickly, Mumbai Indians started losing their top batsmen. Suryakumar Yadav also walked off the pitch quickly as Nandre Berger took his wicket early with the help of catcher Jofra Archer. The Royals foreign fast bowler celebrated Yadav’s wicket very aggressively.
