Gujarat Titans (GT) had a disappointing batting performance against Mumbai Indians (MI) in Ahmedabad. Washington Sundar was playing the anchor role in the middle and looked promising to put up a crucial fight against the away team.
Mitchell Santner did not let him do this. Washington Sundar’s innings ended after scoring 26 runs in 17 balls. In his innings, the middle-order batsman hit five fours on the opposing bowlers. This is not the first time that Kiwi spinner Mitchell Santner has got the wicket of the Indian all-rounder. Naman Dheer took a brilliant catch to complete the wicket taking process.
Washington Sundar was dismissed by Naman Dhir’s tremendous catch near the boundary line.
The delivery was not good enough to take the wicket of the well-set batsman. Naman Dheer’s timely lunge near the boundary rope in the deep forced Sundar off the pitch.
